| Butter Frosting
Sir Kraab sez: Not too-too sweet.
¼ cup butter
2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 t. vanilla
3 T. cream or milk (approx.)
Cream butter. Gradually stir in 1 cup sugar, then vanilla. Add
remaining sugar alternately with cream until proper consistency.
Variations
Chocolate: Add 2 squares chocolate, melted, to butter-sugar mixture
after half the sugar has been added. Reduce vanilla to ½ tsp.
vanilla and substitute milk for cream.
Mocha: Substitute strong coffee for cream and add 1½ T. cocoa.
